So all this proves one point, falling prey to tension, stress and anxiety is certain and inevitable.

Temper Tantrums:
Anger, an emotional outburst due to grief and frustration is natural and instinctive. It's better to express your resentment immediately than to let the volcano build up and erupt someday out of nowhere. There are exceptions too. A person with a short temper who flares up even for trivial reasons is really difficult to deal with. From verbal abuse to flying saucer cups and chairs, the intensity may vary and you should call the shots if this outrage leaves the people and places in a mess.

Watching your favorite team in super bowl with fries & fizz and your spouse butts in saying," Could you do the garbage tonight?", and all you remember is the sudden adrenaline rush, hot flushes, bad-mouthing and all hell broken loose; you are screaming at the top of your voice for giving errands and letting the world know it.

Fire with Fire:
A few minutes of fury leave permanent scars and no good done later can rectify the damage. It's a behavioral disorder that needs a change from within and a mindset to accept the flaws. Most of the people argue as not entirely their fault but a reaction to a provocation. A bad behavior is just a bad behavior and cannot be excused.

Venting out the emotions alternately like hitting pillow or banging the wall and desk, some say help to redirect the rage but turns out they negatively trigger the violent behavior more and will only end up with a tattered pillow or broken knuckles.
Even smart phones provide apps that can beat or punch at anyone virtually. However these temporary fixes don't aid in the long run and merely adds fuel to the fire.

Assume you are the antagonist, who will you pick as prey? easy guess:) your partner, co-workers, subordinates and sometimes strangers but the common factor is they all appear weak to you and subduing them gives you a sense of power.

Mend your fences:
Its never too late to give a try to control anger and turn over a new leaf. Confide in a well wisher to analyse what escalates negativism. Some cite reasons for bad temper as low self esteem, egoism, dissatisfied job, unhappy relation and financial burdens. A regular practice of exercise, meditation, yoga or a change in the surroundings help in the long run. Extreme cases can also be treated through therapy, counselling sessions and medicines.

Oops..Caught you nodding yes;) Reality is not as easy as theory and never complies with the rules we set. Life lets in drama, wildness and zero logic at times. In spite of all attempts, rough days and crazy people ruffle your feathers and you very well know its a justifiable anger. Take the bull by the horns but with a balanced and healthy psyche.
Express your concern and assert your disliking to actions that hurt. Move away from the place or ignore with a brave smile. Crying out, silly humor or screaming privately also releases the tension. Strengthen your heart to handle criticism and your mind to cultivate peace.
Temperament is just a split-second madness, a little push to your brain to think rationally and give a second thought before responding will save you from shame. Often quoted saying, Anger is just one letter away from 'D'anger, so always keep it in check.
